On September 30, 2023, I have made a committment to lock arms with Family Services CEO Leah Feldman, and take on the challenge of running 50 miles in one day to honor the unwavering determination that exists in each and every one of us.
I am also asking that you join in the challenge of taking on 50 miles. Everyone's road is different, and we all will reach the distance in different ways and at different times. But no matter what your challenge is, or when you start or finish it, know that we've got you....we stand with you, and together we are stronger than alone.
Family Services has set a goal of raising $50,000 over these 50 miles. My personal goal is to raise $5,000 - or 10% of that total.
Here's my challenge for you: Commit to covering 50 miles in the month of September; you can walk, run, hike, or even bike them - the goal is to complete them. In conjunction, should you feel so led, I ask that you also commit to donating $1 for every mile you cover. For every $50 that is donated, I am committed to matching the donation myself, or finding a donor to match - right up to my fundraising goal!
Here's my second challenge for you: Create your own team, define your 50 mile why, and meet us out on the trails on September 30th!!
